Blueberry Matcha Latte
Don’t wave summer goodbye just yet… even though Autumn is here, you can still enjoy delicious iced matcha lattes and what’s best that to add an extra antioxidant for a sweet boost?!
High quality matcha green tea powder is high in antioxidants, actually matcha is the food that has the most antioxidants in the world. But, blueberries are pretty high on the list too. Antioxidants are great for the body and for the skin.
This blueberry matcha latte recipe is delicious and super easy to make. Great to enjoy your matcha in a different way!
BLUEBERRY MATCHA LATTE RECIPE

Prep time: 3 min
Total time: 3 min plus 15 min simmering time
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of blueberries (frozen work fine too)
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
50 ml water
180 ml milk, plant based milk works great too
1/2 tsp vanilla syrup (optional)
1.5 tsp Organic Matcha Oishii powder

DIRECTIONS
In a small pot, simmer the blueberries in low heat with the lemon juice, and let them rest for a few minutes before serving, so the blueberry mixture becomes a little bit thick and it's not all runny.
Dissolve the Matcha Oishii powder in the water by whisking it with your chasen in your matcha bowl, or simply by shaking it in a cristal jar. Make sure the matcha is well dissolved before pouring into your blueberry matcha latte.
Pour in the milk, plant based make this a delicious blueberry vegan matcha latte too!
You can sweeten your iced blueberry matcha latte with some vanilla syrup or your favorite sweetener if you wish. This is not a must, but if you want, this always makes it a bit sweeter and nice for an afternoon or evening latte.
Add ice cubes to make this an iced blueberry matcha latte.
