DIRECTIONS
1. Start by creaming the butter and both sugars together until everything is smooth and creamy.
2. Once, they are well mixed, add the egg, milk and vanilla, mix thoroughly.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
4. Mix the dry ingredients of the hamantaschen cookies part first, then add the liquid ingredients and mix until combined. Add the chocolate chips.
5. Refrigerate the dough for at least an hour. Do this until you feel that the matcha hamantaschen cookies dough is consistent enough to roll.
6. For the filling, prepare this by melting the white chocolate and mixing it with the Matcha Oishii powder. Reserve.
7. Roll and spread the dough. With a round cookie cutter, cut the dough in circles.
8. Add about a teaspoon of the matcha chocolate filling in the middle. Repeat this step in each of the circles.
9. Then fold the top and then the bottom of the circles until you make a triangle shape. Refrigerate the matcha hamantaschen cookies for half an hour so the triangle becomes harder and it does not open when you bake it.
10. Bake for 8-10min at 200°C
11. Let the matcha hamantaschen cookies cool and enjoy! Happy purim.
