METHOD
You will start by making each flavor separately. The sakura cherry blossom donuts first, and then the matcha donuts, or the other way around. But do not mix both of the colors.
Start by adding the dry ingredients first to make the sakura cherry blossom donuts or the matcha donuts.
Then, add to the sakura powder mix the liquid ingredients. And mix well until everything is really well incorporated. If you feel that the mixture is too thick, add a few drops more of milk, but remember, you do not want the sakura donut glaze to be very liquid.
Do the same for the matcha glaze donuts.
Once you have your sakura cherry blossom icing ready or/and matcha glaze ready, grab your homemade donuts or store bought, and soak them in the glaze. Make sure you drip well all of the excess.
It is best to place each sakura donut or matcha donut on top of a cooling rack, on top of a tray, to let the excess glaze drip.
Allow for the matcha donuts and sakura donuts to dry, and enjoy!
Do not forget to drink a matcha latte or sakura latte to enjoy the donuts even best!
