Matcha Bubble Tea
Matcha bubble tea is fun and delicious to drink! Have you ever tried bubble tea? We love it!
Bubble tea originated in Taiwan during the 19th Century and is called like that because it consists of chewy tapioca pearls, spheres or balls. So basically, you add the tapioca pearls to your tea and enjoy it.
Tapioca pearls have a unique chewy texture and when you combine it with matcha it really makes it a fabulous drink! That is why matcha bubble tea is one of our favorite drinks.
The key secret to making a good matcha bubble tea is to use good quality matcha powder as it will make your drink incredibly green and it will leave a sweet after taste.

METHOD
Matcha bubble tea can be made with store bought tapioca pearls which you can simply boil or you can make your own tapioca balls from scratch. Whatever you prefer, both are delicious options.
To make the matcha tea, simply prepare a regular matcha with water by adding to a bowl 1 to 1.5 tsp of organic Matcha Oishii powder (depending on how strong you like your matcha bubble tea). Then, add 50ml of water, whisk until your matcha powder is well dissolved, or shake it in a jar.
Add the tapioca pearls to your glass, and then pour in the 250ml of milk. You can use plant milk too. If you want to sweeten your matcha bubble tea, add 1/2 tsp vanilla syrup or your favorite sweetener.
Finally, top your matcha bubble tea with the previously prepared matcha tea!
Add ice if you like, mix and drink with a thick straw so you can drink the tapioca bubbles!
